PORTALJABAR, BEKASI REGENCY - The Bekasi Regency Government (Pemdakab) is preparing a welcoming and thanksgiving for the elected Regent and Deputy Regent of Bekasi, Ade Kuswara Kunang and Asep Surya Atmaja, after being inaugurated on February 6, 2025 at the State Palace, Jakarta.

Acting Regent of Bekasi Dedy Supriyadi led a preparatory meeting attended by Acting Regional Secretary Jaoharul Alam, Forkopimda elements, Regional Assistant (Asda) 1 Sri Enny Mainiarti, heads of regional apparatus, and the transition team from the elected Regent and Deputy Regent.

In the meeting, the Bekasi District Government discussed the inauguration and welcoming procession which will take place at the Cikarang Pusat District Government Plaza.

"We have prepared a welcoming rundown, including security and arrangements for the people who will attend," said Dedy in the KH. R Ma'mun Nawawi Room, Bekasi District Government Complex, Thursday (1/30/2025).

The Bekasi District Government will hold several series of events, such as a welcoming ceremony at the District Government Complex, a Plenary Meeting for the Handover of Position at the DPRD Building, and meetings with community leaders and residents. Dedy Supriyadi also installed all heads of regional apparatus and sub-district heads to also participate in this welcoming ceremony.

"This is part of our togetherness, in Bekasi language it is called 'Kriya-an', as a form of gratitude for the inauguration of the Regent and Deputy Regent of Bekasi," he said.

The Bekasi District Government will also provide a videotron for the public who want to watch the inauguration procession live. In addition, the welcoming will involve employees, students, village heads, sub-district heads, and heads of the BPD Forum in the sub-district.

Acting Regional Secretary Jaoharul Alam explained that the welcoming ceremony will begin at 13:00 WIB at the Golok Roundabout, Bekasi Regency Government Complex. The group will be greeted with a carriage and a traditional procession before heading to the DPRD Building for the Special Plenary Meeting for the handover of office.

After that, the Regent and Deputy Regent will meet the community at the Pemdakab Plaza and review various regional apparatus booths before continuing to the Swatantra Wibawa Mukti Building for the official welcoming ceremony.
