PORTALJABAR, BEKASI REGENCY - Acting Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Bekasi Regency Jaoharul Alam attended the Coordination Meeting (Rakor) with Stakeholders in the Supervision of Campaign Stages in the 2024 Simultaneous Elections in Bekasi Regency, which was held by the Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) of Bekasi Regency, at the Holiday Inn Hotel Ballroom, Bekasi Regency, Thursday (17/10/2024).

In his speech, Jaoharul said that the election is a real manifestation of democracy and all parties have the responsibility to ensure that the entire campaign process from planning to implementation runs in an orderly, safe and smooth manner.

"Through this coordination meeting, the Bekasi Regency Government emphasizes synergy between all elements of society, government and law enforcement officers in maintaining order and neutrality during the campaign stages," he said.

According to Jaoharul, the campaign is not only about conveying the vision and mission of the candidates but also how we jointly maintain regional conduciveness, avoid potential conflicts and ensure that the entire process is carried out in accordance with applicable regulations.

"It is hoped that all stakeholders can work together more effectively in supervision and maintain the commitment to create a safe, honest, fair and quality election for Bekasi Regency," he said.

He also invited all parties to continue to provide education to the public so that they are smarter in using their voting rights. And not be influenced by information that is hoax, or black campaigns that can damage unity and togetherness in the community.

Jaoharul also appreciated all parties who had played an active role in making the 2024 Simultaneous Election stages in Bekasi Regency a success.

"May Allah protect and facilitate all our efforts in realizing a peaceful and prosperous Bekasi Regency through the democratization process," he said.
