PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. BOGOR - The Bogor Regional Government through the Department of Cooperatives and SMEs (Diskop UKM) and other related agencies is committed to continuing to support and provide assistance so that cooperatives in Bogor Regency are able to develop their businesses.

This was confirmed by Acting. The Regent of Bogor, Asmawa Tosepu while visiting the chairman, administrators, supervisors, leaders and members of cooperatives, at the Regional Secretariat Auditorium, Cibinong (1/2/2024).

The event was attended by around 500 cooperatives throughout Bogor Regency. Also present at the event were representatives of Forkopimda, representatives of Atang Sendjaja Air Base, Regent's Expert Staff for Economics and Development, Chairman of the Bogor Regency Regional Indonesian Cooperative Council (Dekopinda), representatives of the MUI of Bogor Regency, representatives of Higher Education Institutions, Heads of Regional Apparatus and Subdistrict Heads.

Asmawa Tosepu said, until now cooperatives are still believed to be one of the solutions to create equitable economic growth and the Bogor Regency Government, through the Department of Cooperatives and SMEs and other related agencies, continues to strive to provide support and assistance for cooperative businesses, MSMEs, IKM so that they are able to develop their businesses. Through various cooperative training facilitation, licensing assistance, production, packaging and certification

"On behalf of the Bogor Regency Government, I would like to express my appreciation and thanks to all heads, administrators, supervisors and members of cooperatives who are in the active and healthy category as well as to cooperative stakeholders who have contributed to the development of cooperatives in Bogor Regency and driven the regional and national economy," said Asmawa.

Asmawa asked Diskop UKM to continue strengthening synergy and collaboration with Dekopinda and other strategic partners to increase the quantity and quality of cooperatives in Bogor Regency so that they are active, healthy, strong, tough, independent, modern, professional and competitive.
