Acting Regent of Bogor Asmawa Tosepu and West Java Regional Secretary (Sekda) Herman Suryatman made direct visits to the homes of affected residents, Thursday (9/5/2024).

West Java Regional Secretary Herman Suryatman revealed that direct field visits were carried out to speed up social handling due to the explosion of the Bullet Warehouse belonging to Kodam Jaya in the Gunung Putri area some time ago.

As is known, of the 45 houses, 11 houses withdrew, meaning they were responsible, and they had made a statement on paper because they wanted the acceleration to be improved independently.

Meanwhile, the remaining 34 houses, totaling 10 of them, have been completed, have been disbursed, and all that remains is to submit the responsibility. Then there are 24 houses that have not been provided with assistance.

Herman added that for cluster settlements there were 172 houses affected. After checking, 40 houses had been assessed. Assessments are underway for the remaining 132 houses until Sunday.

Herman said, there are three days, namely Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and God willing, the 134 houses, plus the 40 houses that have been assessed, will be submitted to BPKAD, processed later through BPBD to get support from Unexpected Assistance (BTT), of course in accordance with provisions, because they must be accountable.
