PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. BOGOR - The Bogor Regency Regional Government (Pemdakab) through the Bogor Regency Small and Medium Enterprises Cooperative Service (Diskop UKM) continues to strive to make MSMEs move up a class, with quality products and complete product legality.
Various activity programs were carried out, one of which was the Ramadan bazaar organized by the Bogor Regional Government together with stakeholders at the district and sub-district levels as a forum for MSMEs to make money in the month of Ramadan.
Head of the UKM Discop Iman Wahyu Budiana revealed that the holy month of Ramadan indeed provides blessings to Muslims. This blessing of Ramadan was also felt by MSMEs in Bogor Regency whose turnover increased along with high market demand. There are also ultra-micro MSMEs such as takjil sellers who appear during the month of Ramadan.
"During the month of Ramadan, the Bogor Regency Government collaborates with stakeholders to carry out Ramadan bazaar activities. "Of course, this is a form of our attention to MSME players to sell and achieve turnover," he said, Friday (5/4/2024).
"One of them is the UKM Diskop, which held a Ramadan bazaar for three consecutive days. This was put to good use by MSME players so that they could achieve an increase in turnover. Because this Ramadan bazaar also received high enthusiasm from the public to come and shop," he said.
Iman explained that the bazaar held in the yard of the UKM Diskop office was a non-APBD activity. They only use what they have so that MSMEs can use it to sell.
He said, next year the budget will be, because the plan is to hold a bazaar in a location where there is a market according to the MSME products being sold.
“Alhamdulillah, the results are quite good. Some have made profits of 5 million to 10 million rupiah. We also collaborate with Bank BJB, every MSME is given QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard), which is a QR code payment standard to facilitate non-cash payments. "However, there are also those who make cash payments," he said.
Iman also said that his party was aggressively encouraging MSMEs to make halal certification, the Bogor Regional Government even had a free halal certification making program which was carried out in four waves, one wave for 50 people.
"The condition of MSMEs in Bogor Regency is starting to improve after the COVID-19 pandemic. "It can be seen that when the month of Ramadan approaches, they have prepared themselves, starting in terms of capital and other things, so that when the month of Ramadan arrives until Eid approaches, they start to get active and make money or profits," he said.
For capital, continued Iman, they can access People's Business Credit or KUR, which is a government subsidized financing or credit program with low interest. In this case, the Bogor Regional Government facilitates by providing recommendations to MSME actors to obtain KUR.
"Of course, this recommendation was issued after we carried out an assessment and validation of the MSMEs. "Among other things, we check whether we have a Business Identification Number (NIB), then whether we have halal certification, and so on," he said.
Iman hopes that the momentum of the month of Ramadaan and Eid al-Fitr can provide blessings to MSMEs in Bogor Regency. The activity, coaching and facilitation program for MSMEs implemented this year will be an experience so that in the future it can be even better.
"Hopefully Bogor Regency's MSMEs will advance to class, with quality products and complete product legality," he said.
