PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. BOGOR - Acting Bogor Regent Asmawa Tosepu accompanied by Regional Secretary (Sekda) Bogor Regency Burhanudin received an audience from the Management of the Lido Special Economic Zone (KEK) to strengthen the synergy in optimizing the development of the Lido KEK in the Bogor Regent's Meeting Room, Monday (8/1/2024).

Acting The Regent of Bogor, Asmawa Tosepu, stated that he is committed to encouraging the acceleration of fulfilling the spirit of developing the Lido KEK. Various evidence of the commitment made by the Bogor District Government to revise the RTRW, stipulation of regional regulations and others.

"I am committed to encouraging the acceleration of fulfilling the spirit of developing the Lido SEZ. "Through this synergy, we hope that the development of the KEK Lido project can be in harmony and synchronization with the regional planning of Bogor Regency," he said.

He also hopes that the Lido KEK can provide many benefits for the people of Bogor Regency, both from an economic perspective as well as opening up job opportunities.

"We agree that the Lido SEZ must be encouraged. We hope that the Lido SEZ will become sugar for the presence of ants which can then be tasted as sweet by all residents of Bogor Regency," he said.

The Main Director of MNC Land, M. Budi Rustanto, revealed that the construction and development of these SEZs continues to be reviewed and supervised at least once every three months, there are 19 Lido SEZs including the Lido SEZs which are constantly reviewed by the Indonesian Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs.

"This synergy is very important in the development of the Lido SEZ, based on the Presidential Regulation, the development of the Lido SEZ focuses on two points, namely tourism and creative industries. The Lido SEZ development process has now been running for three years and many investors have visited from both within and outside the country. "Because the target of the KEK Lido project is to bring in investors and bring in tourist foreign exchange to Bogor Regency," he said.

The Regional Secretary of Bogor Regency, Burhanudin said that support for the Lido KEK has been carried out quite optimally by the Regional Government of Bogor Regency, such as facilitating certification in collaboration with BPN, facilitating the creation of road infrastructure by PUPR, revising regional regulations, facilitating water needs by Perumda Tirta Kahuripan and others.

"The references given by the Regent are sufficient. From the start, the Bogor Regency Government was committed that the LIDO SEZ must become one of the leading SEZs in Indonesia," he added.
