PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. BOGOR - The Bogor Regency Regional Government (Pemdakab), in this case the Acting Regent of Bogor Asmawa Tosepu, together with all ranks and State Civil Apparatus (ASN) within Bogor Regency, attended the commemoration ceremony of the 116th National Awakening Day (Harkitnas) at the West Java Provincial Level which was led directly by The Ceremony Inspector, namely West Java Regional Police Chief Inspector General Akhmad Wiyagus, at the Puncak Paragliding Landing Field, Bogor Regency, Monday (20/5/2024).
West Java Police Chief Inspector General of Police Akhmad Wiyagus, when reading the speech of the Indonesian Minister of Communication and Information, said that now the Indonesian nation is in the second phase of revival, namely continuing the spirit of the first revival that was established by the nation's founders.
In contrast to the struggle that was initiated more than a century ago, the Indonesian people are now facing various new challenges and opportunities, such as technological advances that are marking a new era.
“Technological advances have approached our daily lives and become part of our civilization today. "Technological innovations have driven revolutionary changes in human life," he said.
He said that many difficulties have been successfully resolved by dagium technology in this era. It is clear that he who masters technology will also master civilization. At this point, the picture becomes clearer, mastery of technology is a necessity for us to welcome a Golden Indonesia. Digital technology innovation grows every day. The speed is like a quantum leap. In the last two decades, changes have been rapid.
He also said that digital technology, for example, had advanced far beyond many people's imagination. At least, it would have been unimaginable three decades ago, that today digital technology would cut through many human limitations. The world seemed to dwarf everything as it approached, appearing before our eyes. Distance seems no longer relevant. The visual presence enhances the sound presence.
Meanwhile, ahead lies a potential power that is ready to penetrate the world. The demographic bonus shows how 60% of Indonesia's population in the past two decades will become productive age workers who are ready to develop new innovations, for technological progress and economic growth.
As President Joko Widodo has stated many times, our opportunity to become a developed country is in the next 10 to 15 years by maximizing the demographic bonus. The President also emphasized how in the history of the civilization of countries and nations, this opportunity only comes once, therefore we must never make a mistake in choosing our steps.
"Indonesia's demographic bonus must be managed wisely. One thing that has the potential to become a support is the adoption of digital technology. The internet penetration rate in Indonesia has reached 79.5% of the total population. "This is reinforced by the potential of ASEAN's digital economy which is estimated to skyrocket to 1 trillion USD in 2030," he said.
It should be noted that in business, social and economic aspects, digital transformation can create new jobs and support economic growth, as well as increase business productivity and profitability.
Meanwhile, in social and environmental aspects, digital transformation can increase access to various technologies for mitigating and adapting to climate change. These potentials certainly support the acceleration of digital transformation, as well as opening up opportunities for Indonesia to get out of the middle-income trap. Indonesia's economy must grow in the range of 6 to 7% to achieve the target for high-income or developed countries in 2045.
Akhmad also stated that by launching the acceleration of national digital transformation, we can face challenge after challenge together. The joint work of all components of the nation has moved the wheels of transformation steadily. Results after results can be enjoyed, from urban to rural areas, in all corners of the country.
“The second resurrection is the most important moment for us today. We must look to the future with optimism, confidence and belief. At this point, all the potential of our natural resources, our demographic bonus, the potential of our digital transformation, become the basic capital towards a Golden Indonesia 2045. This is where Bung Karno reminds us of the importance of this moment so that we make the right and careful decisions to take us on the right path. "leads to goodness for all Indonesian people," he said.
Also present were the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda) of Bogor Regency Plus, Danrem 061 Surya Kencana, Head of Regional Apparatus throughout Bogor Regency.
