BOGOR - To create a peaceful and successful 2024 election without conflict, the Bogor District Government together with the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda) of Bogor Regency strengthen commitment and synergy with the District Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimcam) throughout Bogor Regency in maintaining conduciveness in their respective regions, in the Building Firm in Faith, Tuesday (9/1/2024).

Acting Bogor Regent, Asmawa Tosepu said, as a state administrator, the momentum of the 2024 simultaneous elections has the responsibility to ensure that the implementation of the democratic party runs peacefully, safely and smoothly, and that the conduciveness of the Bogor Regency area can be maintained.

"This is a national strategic agenda, so together we ensure that the elections run peacefully, smoothly and safely, regional conduciveness is guaranteed, and voter participation is achieved in channeling their voting rights in the framework of successful national leadership for the next five years," he said.

Acting The Regent of Bogor also appealed to all sub-district heads, village heads, village heads and Forkopimcam to massively provide education related to political education to the entire community. It also invites all informal figures such as kyai and ulama who have a mass base as a large congregation to also actively participate in educating the public.

"I also urge and remind village heads and subdistrict heads to never stop, never get tired of inviting the people in their respective areas to urge them to exercise their political rights, constitutional rights in order to elect the country's leader," he said.

Bogor Police Chief, AKBP Rio Wahyu Anggoro invites all stakeholders to avoid identity politics, because identity politics can threaten peace, security and social order, cause divisions, give rise to primordial ideas, consider other people outside their identity as enemies, and society will be destroyed because of identity politics.

"That must not happen, we are a great nation that has Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, Pancasila and the Constitution to maintain the unity of the Republic of Indonesia. "Don't let identity politics penetrate all components of society in Bogor Regency," he said.
