PORTALJABAR, BOGOR REGENCY - The Bogor Regency Government provided training to 60 Musabaqah Tilawatil Quran (MTQ) delegates from Bogor Regency, who will participate in the 39th MTQ at the West Java Province level in 2025, in Bandung Regency. The training took place in Megamendung District, Monday (10/2/2025).

Present at the event were the Advisory Board of LPTQ Bogor Regency, Head of Baznas Bogor Regency, representatives of the Bogor Regency Ministry of Religion Office and the Head of the People's Welfare Section (Kabag Kesra).

Representing the Regional Secretary of Bogor Regency, Assistant for Government and Public Welfare (Aspemkesra), Zaenal Ashari said that this training is an initial step in our preparation to face the 39th MTQ at the West Java Province level in 2025.

"So it is hoped that it can be the best at the provincial level, and can produce generations who are intelligent in science and have noble morals in accordance with the Al-Quran," said Zaenal.

According to Zaenal, MTQ has great urgency in various aspects of the lives of Muslims, functioning as a means to increase love for the Al-Qur'anul Karim, as a place to develop self-potential related to Al-Qur'anic knowledge, as a medium for preaching and spreading Islamic teachings and as a forum to strengthen Islamic brotherhood.

"I believe the MTQ kafilah of Bogor Regency have extraordinary potential to be able to bring the good name of Bogor Regency to a higher level," concluded Zaenal. (Diskominfo Kab. Bogor/Fauziah)
