PORTALJABAR, BOGOR REGENCY - The Bogor Regency Health Service (Dinkes) has deployed 2,592 health workers from 101 Community Health Centers throughout Bogor Regency who are on standby at 18 Integrated Security Posts to optimize the health security of travelers during the Eid al-Fitr 1446 Hijri holiday.
In order to secure health during the 2025 Eid celebrations, as many as 2,592 health workers (nakes) from 101 Community Health Centers throughout Bogor Regency consisting of doctors, nurses, midwives, and ambulance drivers were deployed to serve at 18 Integrated Security Posts for the Eid homecoming spread across Bogor Regency.
They will work optimally for 16 days during the Eid al-Fitr 1446 Hijri holiday to ensure that the public continues to receive optimal health services during the Eid holiday.
This team of health workers is divided into 3 people per shift, with 3 shifts every day, working at 18 integrated security posts spread across various points in Bogor Regency.
The existence of these health posts aims to provide emergency medical services, health checks, and support ambulance services for people who need immediate assistance.
"We have prepared a solid and experienced medical team to maintain the health of the people of Bogor Regency during Eid. With 2,592 health workers on standby, we hope to provide the best service and quick response to various possible medical needs," said Acting Head of the Bogor Regency Health Office, dr. Fusia Meidiawaty.
According to him, the duties of these health workers include handling emergencies, routine health checks, and providing ambulance services for conditions that require immediate treatment, such as traffic accidents or other urgent medical conditions.
Furthermore, Fusia Meidiawaty explained that the Bogor District Health Office has deployed health workers to 18 integrated posts at various strategic points, in collaboration with the Bogor Police and the Bogor District Transportation Office.
This post is focused on travelers who need health services while passing through, especially on the main routes to their homecoming destinations.
According to him, health services for travelers at the post are carried out 24 hours, with trained health workers such as doctors, nurses, midwives, and other medical personnel.
"This post is ready to provide health check-up services, medication, and emergency treatment, which will be referred to the nearest hospital if necessary," he explained.
According to Fusia, health services, in addition to homecoming posts, the Bogor Regency Government also ensures that health facilities, such as community health centers, main clinics, and hospitals, remain operational during the joint leave period and the 1446 Hijri Eid al-Fitr holiday.
There are 30 health centers ready to serve the community 24 hours, and 28 health centers with PONED services (Basic Emergency Obstetric Neonatal Services (PONED) Services to handle emergency cases.
"As part of the alternative health service, we also prepare acupressure therapy in several posts, such as in the Ciawi and Cigombong area posts. Travelers who feel tired or need relaxation can use this service for free," he explained.
It should be noted that in ensuring smooth medical referrals, the Health Office has collaborated with various hospitals in the surrounding areas, such as Ciawi Regional Hospital, Leuwiliang Regional Hospital, and Cileungsi Regional Hospital.
"Travelers who need referrals need not worry, because the health insurance system in Indonesia allows them to access medical services at any health facility, both at their place of residence and while they are out of town during their travels," he explained.
In fact, he said his party has also coordinated with the Health Service Center (PSC) which is ready to carry out free evacuation for travelers who need further treatment. PSC officers will assist in the evacuation and provide medical assistance if needed, both on the toll road and outside the post area.
He appealed to the public to maintain their health during their homecoming journey and to make the best use of the health services that have been prepared.
