PORTALJABAR, BOGOR REGENCY - The Regency Government (Pemdakab) conducted a trial of the free nutritious meal program which took place at SDN 1 Pakansari Cibinong. The trial implementation was reviewed directly by the Acting Regent of Bogor Bachril Bakri together with the ranks of Commission IX of the Indonesian House of Representatives, at SDN Nanggewer 01 Cibinong, Bogor Regency, Friday (1/11/2024).
Bachril said that today's free nutritious meal program includes providing free lunch and milk as an effort to provide additional nutrition for students, toddlers and pregnant women to prevent and overcome stunting problems in Bogor Regency.
"The implementation of this free nutritious food provision is carried out in collaboration with the catering system by empowering local potential by the Cooperatives and UMKM Service, fulfillment of nutritional value by the Health Service, provision of vegetable ingredients in collaboration with farmers fostered by the Distanhorbun and provision of fish, chicken and meat in collaboration with those fostered by the Diskanak. Then waste processing is coordinated with the DLH, and socialization is coordinated with the Bogor Regency Diskominfo," he said.
He hopes that through this program, it can encourage strengthening the development of human resources (HR), science, technology, education, health, sports achievements, gender equality, and strengthening the role of women, youth, and people with disabilities. So that Indonesia Emas 2045 can be realized with fast and best results.
Deputy Chairman of Commission IX of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Yahya Zaini, said that he and his staff were here to directly review the implementation of the free nutritional meal program in Bogor Regency, which is also a national pilot project.
As is known, this program is a flagship program or icon of President Prabowo Subianto, one of which is the free nutritious meal program which aims to build the quality of human resources, build a brilliant, intelligent and superior young generation in 2045.
"The target of this program for five years is approximately 82.9 million. Yesterday we had a meeting, hearing with the Head of the National Nutrition Agency, we have obtained a lot of information. The National Nutrition Agency for 2025, targets 15-25 million targets. which include pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, toddlers to children of elementary, junior high and high school age, with the hope that it can be achieved within a year," he said.
Also present were Bogor Police Chief AKBP Rio Wahyu Anggoro and the Director General of Public Health of the Ministry of Health, Maria Endang Suwimi. Representatives of the Indonesian Food and Drug Monitoring Agency (BPOM), Representatives of the Indonesian National Nutrition Agency (BGN), and a team from the Secretariat General of the Indonesian House of Representatives.
