PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The West Java Provincial Government (Pemdaprov) will subsidize the transportation costs of agricultural products using special train carriages. According to West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi, this is an agreement between the West Java Provincial Government, the Ministry of Transportation, and state-owned enterprise PT. KAI.

"Kuta has agreed to provide special trains to transport agricultural products. The provincial government will subsidize the costs," said KDM at the Pakuan State Building on Friday (10/10/2025).

The meeting also discussed the reactivation of the Padalarang-Cicalengka and Bandung-Cianjur-Sukabumi-Bogor railway lines to Jakarta.

"In addition, there are also discussions about optimizing Kertajati Airport, which will be used exclusively for transporting Hajj and Umrah pilgrims. This will prevent the airport from being idle, as it is a valuable asset of the West Java Provincial Government. The financing scheme is currently being discussed and calculated," explained KDM. (Pun)
