West Java Provincial Government Achieves Very Good Results on Policy Quality Index

PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The Republic of Indonesia State Administration Institute (LAN) gives its highest appreciation to the West Java Provincial Government regarding the value of the 2023 Policy Quality Index (IKK).

Through the RI LAN decision letter signed by the Head of the Policy Analyst Development Center Yogi Suwarno, the West Java IKK achieved an average score of 87.36 or Very Good.

This very good score shows that the West Java Provincial Government has complied with implementing the 2020-2024 bureaucratic reform road map stipulated in the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform Regulation Number 3 of 2023.

LAN RI also expressed its appreciation to the West Java Provincial Government and several districts/cities in West Java which have participated in measuring the 2023 IKK.

The West Java Province Regional Research and Development Agency (Balitbangda) has proposed four gubernatorial policies in 2023 to be submitted to LAN RI.

Head of West Java Balitbangda Linda Al Amin stated that assistance continues to be provided to regional officials from the population and sample phase so that they can focus more on overseeing the 2023 West Java IKK.

"Evidence collection and filling in answers are always accompanied and checked again," said Linda in Bandung City, Thursday (28/12/2023).

Based on the final validation of the IKK National Team and the IKK Board Member Meeting, they decided, first, West Java Governor Regulation Number 9 of 2022 concerning Amendments to West Java Governor Regulation Number 25 of 2021 concerning Human Resource Development for Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry Through the Millennial Farmer Program in the Regions West Java Province received a score of 92.25 or Excellent.

Second, West Java Governor Regulation No. 170 of 2021 concerning Implementation Regulations for Community-Based Family Resilience Development received a score of 80.45 or Very Good.

Third, West Java Governor Regulation No. 74 of 2020 concerning the Implementation of Open High Schools received a score of 81.56 or Very Good.

Next fourth, West Java Governor's Regulation No. 37 of 2021 concerning Amendments to West Java Governor's Regulation No. 28 of 2019 concerning Action Plans for Controlling Pollution and Damage to the Suangai Citarum Watershed for 2019 - 2025 received a score of 93.17 or Excellent.

From the validation results of these four policies, LAN RI decided that the West Java IKK achieved an average score of 87.36 or Very Good.
