
PORTALJABAR, BEKASI REGENCY - The Bekasi Regency Government signed a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) with the Bekasi Regency State Attorney's Office regarding the provision of legal assistance, legal considerations, and other legal actions in the civil and state administration (TUN) fields, in the KHR. Ma'mun Nawawi Room, Regent's Building, Cikarang Pusat Regency Government Complex, Monday (2/3/2026).
The signing was attended by Acting Regent of Bekasi Asep Surya Atmaja and Head of the Bekasi District Attorney's Office, Semeru, along with his staff, as well as heads of regional apparatus within the Bekasi District Government.
In his remarks, Asep Surya Atmaja appreciated the ongoing commitment and synergy between the Bekasi Regency Government and the Bekasi Regency District Attorney's Office in supporting the implementation of regional governance.
"This cooperation agreement is a strategic step in strengthening good, professional, and accountable governance. In the dynamics of government administration, various legal challenges in both civil and state administrative matters can certainly arise. Therefore, the presence of the District Attorney's Office, through its State Attorney function, is a strategic partner for local governments," he said.
He emphasized that this collaboration is not merely an administrative formality, but must be accompanied by commitment, coordination, and intensive communication between the parties. With comprehensive legal considerations, every development policy and program is expected to have a strong legal basis and minimize the potential for future disputes.
This collaboration is also considered crucial for early legal risk prevention, including securing regional assets, providing strategic program support, and strengthening the principle of prudence in policymaking. All regional government agencies are expected to utilize legal aid services and legal advice optimally and proportionally.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Bekasi Regency District Attorney's Office, Semeru, stated that the previous collaboration, which ran from January 2024 to January 2026, had yielded tangible and measurable results.
"During the validity period of this collaboration, the synergy between the Bekasi Regency District Attorney's Office and the Bekasi Regency Government has provided concrete benefits," he said.
He explained that in 2025, the Bekasi Regency District Attorney's Office, through the State Attorney, had carried out 89 legal assistance activities for the Bekasi Regency Government, originating from a number of regional apparatuses.
This assistance covers various strategic sectors of development and public services to ensure that every policy and program is implemented in accordance with statutory regulations.
In addition, through non-litigation legal assistance, his party also helped maximize regional revenue through approximately 31 special powers of attorney that were assessed as having potential, with a total regional financial return of IDR 3.9 billion.
This achievement is concrete evidence that the established synergy can make a direct contribution to the rescue and recovery of state finances, while simultaneously strengthening good and clean governance.
Through this extended collaboration, both parties hope to further strengthen coordination, consultation, and synergy between institutions to support effective, efficient, sustainable, and community-oriented regional development in Bekasi Regency.
