PORTALJABAR, BEKASI REGENCY - The Bekasi Regency Government together with the Government Goods/Services Procurement Policy Institute (LKPP) and Commission XI of the Indonesian House of Representatives held a Dissemination of the Electronic Catalog Implementation Policy Version 6 for MSMEs, which took place at the Holiday Inn Hotel, Bekasi Regency, Monday (13/10/2025).

This activity was attended by Member of Commission XI of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Puteri Anetta Komarudin, Main Secretary of LKPP, Iwan Herniwan, LKPP leadership, and hundreds of MSMEs fostered by the Bekasi Regency Government.

Bekasi Regency Acting Regional Secretary Ida Farida stated that the launch of the electronic catalog version 6 is a crucial step in encouraging MSMEs to participate directly in the government procurement ecosystem.

"MSMEs are the driving force of the regional economy. With the electronic catalog version 6, we want Bekasi Regency's MSMEs to be more than just spectators, but truly involved in the government procurement supply chain," said Ida Farida.

He emphasized that the Bekasi Regency Government has issued regulations protecting MSMEs and requires government-partnered hotels and retailers to use local MSME products in their operational activities.

LKPP Main Secretary, Iwan Herniwan, explained that the electronic catalog version 6 will be effective nationally starting October 1, 2025, and is designed to be more efficient because it is directly integrated with the payment system.

"Version 6 makes things easier for businesses because the procurement process is directly connected to the payment system. Today, MSMEs not only receive information but also practice uploading products and transaction simulations," he explained.

Member of Commission XI of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Puteri Anetta Komarudin, expressed her appreciation for the steps taken by the Bekasi Regency Government and LKPP in expanding government market access for local MSMEs.

"This is a concrete step to truly empower MSMEs to become kings and queens in their own country. This new system is designed to be more transparent, faster, and less complicated, so that MSMEs are not left behind in the government procurement process," Puteri Anetta emphasized.

He added that his party will continue to oversee the implementation of the transition to the electronic catalog system version 6 to ensure it runs smoothly and is inclusive for all MSMEs.

"This activity is part of accelerating the digital transformation of goods and services procurement, while also strengthening the commitment to synergy between the central and regional governments in supporting local products," he concluded. (Bekasi Regency Communications and Information Office/rka)
