PORTALJABAR, BOGOR REGENCY - The Bogor Regency Government (Pemkab) held a meeting to accelerate land acquisition for the benefit of the general public, led directly by the Deputy Regent (Wabup) of Bogor Ade Ruhandi, in the Wabup Room, Friday (17/10/2025).
Ade emphasized the importance of commitment from all government, business, and community parties to accelerate the provision of land for public infrastructure development, especially alternative public road access in the Cigudeg Rumpin area towards the planned toll road.
"The regional government appreciates the entrepreneurs and community who remain committed to supporting regional development policies. This is a concrete form of collaboration for the public good," he said.
In the meeting, several private parties showed real commitment by handing over or donating land for road construction.
Among them are Musika, which handed over almost one hectare of land in Cipinang Village, and the Wiranto Group, which stated its readiness to donate around 3.5 hectares of land for public road purposes.
Ade said that this step is part of social responsibility and partnership between the government and the business world.
He also revealed that the Bogor Regency Government is currently calculating the 2026 budget requirements to continue the construction of mining roads and other public access roads, in order to promote connectivity and the welfare of the community in the western region of Bogor Regency.
"Essentially, this is all for the benefit of the public. The government cannot work alone; it needs support and collective goodwill," he said.
Head of Bappedalitbang Suryanto Putra said that several strategic road sections are being prepared to support inter-regional connectivity and facilitate community activities and mining transportation.
"The road sections we're discussing are existing village roads that can still be widened. Hopefully, the first two segments will be budgeted and built in 2026, while the remaining segments are expected to be completed in 2027," he said.
He explained that 2026 would focus on the land acquisition process, while physical development would continue in stages.
Suryanto also explained that 13 road sections are under construction in West Bogor by 2025. This development will not only support community activities but also improve the smooth flow of logistics and regular mining transportation.
"This road construction is not just for the benefit of one sector, but also to stimulate economic growth in the surrounding community. All parties, including mining companies in the Rumpin and Cigudeg areas, are expected to participate in supporting this infrastructure development," he said.
