PORTALJABAR, BOGOR REGENCY - A special mining road in Parungpanjang will soon be built. Bogor Regent Rudy Susmanto emphasized that the construction of the road does not need to wait for next year, but will be done now.

This was stated by Rudy at a meeting to discuss handling roads affected by mining activities, in Kabasiran Village, Parungpanjang District, Thursday (8/5/2025).

The Bogor Regency Government has calculated the budget needed to build a special road for mining.

"This mining route is expected to reduce congestion and separate heavy vehicles from public roads," explained Rudy.

Once there is a special mining road, trucks will have their own lane so that mining activities can operate 24 hours.

The project will involve around 13 to 17 areas in the west of Bogor Regency. A technical team will be deployed soon to map the route, calculate land requirements and plan in detail the starting and ending points of construction.

With the existence of special mining roads,
People living in the Parungpanjang area will feel comfortable and safe.

In addition to road construction, residents' aspirations regarding health and education facilities are also a serious concern. The Bogor Regency Government will prioritize the provision of education and health facilities in the western and northern areas of Bogor Regency.
