PORTALJABAR, BOGOR REGENCY - The Bogor Regency Government, through the Inspectorate, has completed an investigative audit into the handling of public complaints regarding alleged position buying and selling practices, which were carried out in accordance with the mechanisms and provisions of applicable laws and regulations.
Bogor Regency Inspector Arif Rahman explained that the audit process had been carried out since March 11, 2026, through a series of strategic steps, including data collection, material tracing, and confirmation and clarification with relevant parties.
"The Inspectorate team conducted a comprehensive investigative audit to obtain relevant, competent, material, and adequate data and facts. All stages were carried out carefully and thoroughly to ensure the information obtained was complete, accurate, and accountable," said Arif Rahman.
He emphasized that requests for information and clarification from a number of parties were part of the in-depth process and did not necessarily indicate the involvement of the parties being asked for information in the problem being audited.
Based on the results of the audit of data and documents, as well as requests for information from 24 (twenty-four) employees/officials within the Bogor Regency Government, both Echelon II, III, IV officials, and implementing staff, no evidence was found of any flow of funds to BKPSDM, the Performance Assessment Team (TPK), or other related parties in connection with job promotions.
The identified transactions only occurred between 4 (four) civil servants, as proven by the transfer data and bank statements in question.
"We need to convey that the audit results did not reveal any flow of funds to the BKPSDM, the TPK, or any other related parties. The identified transactions occurred only between four civil servants, supported by transfer receipts and individual bank statements," he explained.
As a State Civil Apparatus, every individual is obliged to uphold integrity and comply with the norms, standards, and provisions of laws and regulations, including Law Number 20 of 2023 concerning State Civil Apparatus and its derivative regulations.
For violations that occur, disciplinary sanctions will be imposed in accordance with Government Regulation Number 94 of 2021 concerning Civil Servant Discipline in conjunction with BKN Regulation Number 6 of 2022.
In connection with the discovery of violations by 4 (four) civil servants and the indication of criminal acts in the alleged practice of buying and selling positions based on the results of an investigative audit, the Bogor Regency Government has delegated the handling of the case to Law Enforcement Officers for further processing in accordance with applicable provisions.
"Based on these findings, the Bogor Regency Government has taken decisive action by handing over the case to law enforcement officials for further processing in accordance with applicable regulations," Arif Rahman emphasized.
This step demonstrates the Bogor Regency Government's commitment under the leadership of Rudy Susmanto and Ade Ruhandi to realizing good, clean, and integrated governance and strengthening public trust through effective, efficient, and accountable service delivery.
