PORTALJABAR, CIAMIS REGENCY - The Ciamis Regency Government presented the Integrated Government Services for the Ciamis Community (PEPATAH MANIS) in Cibeureum Village, Sukamantri, Wednesday (21/10/2026).
The program presents 23 Service Provider Units (UPP) with 58 types of services as well as the Affordable Food Movement (GPM) to help residents access public services and meet basic needs at affordable prices.
Sukamantri Sub-district Head Nonok Nurlina welcomed the implementation of the activity because the majority of local residents work as farmers and traders who need easier access to services.
"It is an honor and a real manifestation of the Ciamis Regency Government's concern for the needs of the community, particularly in providing easier, faster, more integrated, and higher-quality public services," said Nonok.
He also appreciated the infrastructure development in the Sukamantri area throughout 2026, including Sukamantri Road, Cibubuhan Tourism Road, clean water networks, and the revitalization of several schools.
Head of the Organizational Section of the Ciamis Regency Regional Secretariat, Muhammad Iskandar, representing Regional Secretary Andang Firman Triyadi, explained that the services include population administration, licensing, and banking.
"The goal is to provide wider access to the public to obtain integrated services that are fast, easy, and affordable, as well as to provide affordable basic necessities," he explained.
Through the Affordable Food Movement, the regional government is also working to stabilize the prices of basic necessities while maintaining people's purchasing power amid price fluctuations.
Ciamis Regent Herdiat Sunarya, through his Assistant for General Administration Wawan Ruhyat, emphasized that public services must continue to be improved to make them more affordable, transparent, and of high quality.
"The title of excellent service is not just an achievement, but a reflection of our commitment and responsibility to ensuring the public receives increasingly affordable, accurate, transparent, and high-quality services. Therefore, I urge all public service providers to not be complacent," Wawan emphasized, quoting the Regent's message.
Wawan also appreciated the community participation that helped Ciamis win various awards, including the Adipura Kencana Award and the title of cleanest small city in Southeast Asia in 2025.
Closing his remarks, Wawan conveyed Herdiat's "3A" message, namely protecting religion, descendants, and nature as the foundation for maintaining a sustainable community life.
"First, safeguard our religion. Amidst the advancement of technology, we must maintain our faith. Second, protect our children and ensure their faith is strong and develop their physical abilities from an early age. Third, safeguard nature. If we safeguard nature, nature will safeguard us. Protect the environment and ensure our water sources are not lost," Wawan concluded.
