PORTALJABAR, BEKASI REGENCY - The Bekasi Regency Government and Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) welcomed the direction of the 2027 State Budget (APBN) after attending the speech of the President of the Republic of Indonesia.

The special plenary session discussed the government's submission of information on the 2027 State Budget (APBN) Bill and the Financial Note (14/8/2026).

Acting Regent of Bekasi, Asep Surya Atmaja, said that the central government's policy focuses on strengthening the health sector.

According to Asep, the 2027 State Budget plan includes the construction and revitalization of hospitals, community health centers, health laboratories, and ambulances.

"In fact, it was clearly stated in the 2027 State Budget Bill that there will be plans to revitalize and build hospitals, community health centers, and health laboratories, as well as ambulances, both land and air," said Asep.

Strengthening these facilities is considered to be able to expand access for the people of Bekasi Regency to more adequate health services.

Asep also highlighted the plan to develop national electric motorcycles (Molinas) to support the energy transition and reduce dependence on fuel oil (BBM).

"Moreover, we will have an environmentally friendly national electric motorcycle (Molinas), because in the future, fuel will be abandoned and electricity will be prioritized," he said.

Meanwhile, Bekasi Regency DPRD Chairman Ade Sukron said the meeting was the 42nd plenary session of the 2026 third session.

Ade assessed that the President's speech provided an optimistic picture regarding projections for national economic growth and the use of resources for the welfare of the community.

"The President's directives in his state address focused more on our highly optimistic economic growth projections and how the President emphasized the importance of managing our resources for the benefit of the community," he said.

He said that procurement of goods and revitalization of health and education facilities were among the policies that needed to be translated by local governments.

"The President is inviting all regions to participate, as the central government will also be directly involved. We need to heed his message, and therefore, synergy with the regions is essential to support the President's directives," he concluded.
