PORTALJABAR, BOGOR REGENCY - The Bogor Regency Government, together with the Bogor Police and the Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda), are strengthening cross-sector coordination for the implementation of Operation Ketupat Lodaya 2026.

This was conveyed by the Regional Secretary of Bogor Regency, Ajat Rochmat Jatnika in a cross-sectoral coordination meeting, Operation Ketupat Lodaya 2026, at the Sanika Hall of the Bogor Police, Cibinong, Friday (6/3/2026).

Ajat said that the Bogor Regency Government fully supports the implementation of Operation Ketupat Lodaya 2026 through synergy between all regional apparatuses together with elements of the TNI-Polri and Forkopimda.

According to him, cross-sector coordination is crucial to ensure that all community activities during Eid al-Fitr run safely, orderly, and smoothly.

"We are ready to provide support in terms of facilities, including managing homecoming routes, managing areas that are busy with crowds, and disseminating emergency service information to the public," he concluded.

He also explained that the Bogor Regency Government is preparing several events for this year's Eid al-Fitr celebrations. One of these is holding Eid al-Fitr prayers at Pakansari Stadium, the first since its construction.

"For the first time, we will hold Eid al-Fitr prayers together at the Pakansari Stadium. Afterward, we will also hold an open house with the Regent and the Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda), so all preparations must be carried out thoroughly," he said.

In addition, Ajat explained, the Bogor Regency Government will also prepare transportation support for the community through a joint homecoming program by adding bus fleets from the Transportation Agency and support from the private sector.

"We must ensure that all Eid celebrations run smoothly, from the homecoming traffic to the Eid al-Fitr prayers, to the return flow. This requires cooperation and synergy from all parties," said Ajat.

Meanwhile, Bogor Police Chief AKBP Wikha Ardilestanto explained that Operation Ketupat Lodaya 2026 carries the theme "Safe Homecoming, Happy Families." According to him, this year's Eid security operation prioritizes preemptive and preventive measures, while repressive measures are a last resort.

The Police Chief revealed that based on the previous year's evaluation, the crime rate during the homecoming and return flow periods had increased compared to the previous year.

"This must be a matter of concern for all of us, requiring concrete action from all stakeholders, including the police, the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), local governments, and even sub-district and village governments," he said.

He asked the Forkopimcam ranks, the Police Chief, the Military District Commander, and the sub-district head to actively go directly to the community to provide advice regarding increasing vigilance ahead of the homecoming.

He cited the example of the Parung Panjang Police, which had initiated the distribution of around 100 padlocks to the community as a preventive measure to increase the security of homes and vehicles left behind during the homecoming period.

"We have also distributed portable CCTV cameras to several mosques in Bogor Regency to help monitor the environment," Wikha emphasized.

In terms of traffic security, the Police Chief also emphasized the importance of integrated coordination between agencies, especially on tourist routes and homecoming routes such as the Puncak area.

He also requested that all elements, including the Transportation Agency and Public Order Agency (Satpol PP), join forces in one integrated post at the Gadog Hugeng Post to strengthen coordination and minimize obstacles on traffic routes.

"We warn of the potential surge in traffic on the second day of Eid al-Fitr, which is typically used by people to visit relatives," he concluded. (PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS TEAM / BOGOR REGENCY DISKOMINFO/rka)
