PORTALJABAR, GARUT REGENCY - The Garut Regency Government is pushing for improvements in the management of claims for the Social Security Administration for Health (BPJS Kesehatan) to ensure the quality of health services for the community through the BPJS Kesehatan Communication Forum in Tarogong Kidul (24/6/2026).

The forum brought together BPJS Kesehatan, hospitals, community health centers, and stakeholders to evaluate the claims process and resolve administrative issues affecting services.

Garut Regency Regional Secretary Nurdin Yana said that one of the issues of concern was the delay in disbursing claims due to incomplete administrative documents.

According to Nurdin, the forum succeeded in identifying the root of the problem so that solutions could be immediately implemented by all parties.

"So at that point everything is known and the common thread has been concluded, because something like that must not happen again," Nurdin stressed.

Complete administrative documents are an important requirement to ensure the claims process runs smoothly and does not disrupt the operational services of hospitals or community health centers.

Nurdin emphasized that the Garut Regency Government and BPJS Kesehatan have the same goal, namely ensuring that the public receives optimal health services.

"I also heard how the hospital immediately took steps to prevent a recurrence of the problem," Nurdin said.

The Garut Regency Government hopes that improvements in administrative management will accelerate claims disbursement, maintain the financial health of healthcare facilities, and ensure sustainable service to the public.
