PORTALJABAR, GARUT REGENCY - The Garut Regency Government conducted the 2026 Civil Servant Competency and Potential Assessment at Garut University. (June 18, 2026)

This activity uses the Computer Assisted Competency Test method as the basis for ASN talent management.

Garut Regent Abdusy Syakur Amin said that the assessment is the basis for mapping the competency and potential of ASN.

He emphasized that the test results would influence the career development of civil servants in the future.

"Today, you will take a test, the scores of which will be included in your competency and potential scores," he said.

According to him, this system is designed to create transparent and objective ASN talent management.

Abdusy Syakur Amin asked participants to take the entire series of tests seriously and give their best.

He emphasized that ASN career development must be based on measurable competency, potential, and performance.

"This will determine your future career," he stressed.

The assessment results are expected to provide an accurate picture of the capacity of the Garut Regency Government apparatus.

This program is also a strategic step to improve the quality of public services in the region.
