PORTALJABAR, GARUT REGENCY - The Garut Regency Government presented integrated public services and the 2026 Creative Market at the Bungbulang District Square, Thursday (17/9/2026).

The activity, which was opened by Garut Regent Abdusy Syakur Amin, provides closer access to public services while encouraging the development of the creative economy and the local community's economy.

In his remarks, Syakur emphasized the importance of having population documents such as KTP, birth certificate, and Family Card (KK) as the basis for distributing various government assistance programs.

"We must not let our children be without an identity. All government assistance, both food aid and Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT), always refers to existing population data. This assistance is focused on vulnerable residents. However, it cannot be provided to everyone due to specific criteria and government budget limitations," said Abdusy Syakur Amin.

He hopes that this activity can continue to be sustainable so that it provides benefits to the people of Garut Regency.

Bungbulang Sub-district Head Beni Yandiana expressed his appreciation for the trust shown by the Garut Regency Government in appointing Bungbulang Sub-district as the location for the activity.

"On behalf of the residents of Bungbulang District, we are very grateful and thank the Regent and all parties involved," he said.

Meanwhile, Secretary of the Garut Regency Tourism and Culture Office (Disparbud) Mia Herlina explained that the activity was a roadshow to explore and promote local creative economic potential at the sub-district level.

"The creative economy has now become a growing sector and has a significant impact on economic growth. That's why we're holding a creative market roadshow event, which aims to explore, identify, and highlight the potential of the creative economy sector in every sub-district in Garut Regency," Mia explained.

The activity carries the concept of jemput bola (outreach) by involving cross-Regional Work Units (SKPD) and vertical agencies for two days, Thursday to Friday (September 17-18, 2026).

The people of Bungbulang and its surroundings can take advantage of various free services, ranging from population administration, health, employment, food, taxes, permits, to social services.

These services also include rabies vaccinations and animal health checks, public complaints through SP4N-LAPOR!, Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) payments, fire prevention education, as well as banking and BPJS services.

In addition to public services, the event was enlivened by a culinary and MSME bazaar, local arts and cultural performances, and various interactive competitions.
