PORTALJABAR, GARUT REGENCY - The Garut Regency Government is exploring collaboration with the Ministry of Finance and the State Asset Management Institute (LMAN) to optimize the use of regional assets as a source of Regional Original Income 10/7/2026.

The discussion took place when Garut Regent Abdusy Syakur Amin received a visit from the Directorate General of State Assets of the Ministry of Finance and LMAN in the Pamengkang Room.

The collaboration focuses on managing strategic assets, such as the RAA Adiwijaya Sports Facilities, Art Center, and Situ Bagendit.

Abdusy Syakur Amin said the collaboration aims to increase the benefits of regional assets for the community while supporting increased regional income.

"So, God willing, today we are pioneering efforts to carry out collaborative efforts in Garut Regency related to asset management, especially the RAA Adiwijaya SOR, the Art Center, and possibly also Situ Bagendit. We will discuss asset management because these are Garut's proud assets," said Abdusy Syakur Amin.

LMAN will provide assistance ranging from asset inventory and management to opening up opportunities for collaboration with investors.

Director of State Asset Policy Formulation, Directorate General of State Assets, Ministry of Finance, Encep Sudarwan, appreciated the commitment of the Garut Regency Government in optimizing regional assets.

"We really appreciate the regent's enthusiasm for optimizing regional resources for the betterment of the community," said Encep Sudarwan.

Kristijanindyati Puspitasari, President Director of the State Asset Management Institute, stated that the SOR RAA Adiwijaya area has great economic potential and is worthy of development.

LMAN will assist the Garut Regency Government through Highest and Best Use analysis, feasibility studies, and the search for suitable investment partners.

This collaboration is expected to optimize the use of regional assets, thereby providing economic benefits and better services for the community.
