PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The Bandung City Government welcomed the achievement of Bandung City which was ranked 34th in the list of the 100 best culinary cities in the world according to TasteAtlas thanks to the wealth of typical foods that are loved by the global community (6/4/2026).

The list is compiled based on hundreds of thousands of public ratings of thousands of traditional dishes from various countries around the world.

More than 18,000 cities were assessed in the ranking and only 100 cities made it to the top list.

Bandung City scored high thanks to its diverse culinary offerings with unique and diverse flavors.

Several iconic dishes such as batagor, cireng, yellow rice, mie kocok, and surabi have received appreciation from culinary connoisseurs worldwide.

The existence of legendary eateries and local culinary entrepreneurs also strengthens Bandung City's identity as a culinary tourism destination.

The combination of traditional flavors and innovative processing makes the culinary experience in Bandung City increasingly popular with tourists.

This international recognition also has a positive impact on the tourism sector and the community's creative economy.
