PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Nani Rubiyani, the mother of Bandung Mayor Muhammad Farhan, passed away on Tuesday (February 17, 2026) at 10:58 PM WIB in Bogor City. The sad news brought deep sorrow to her extended family and the Bandung City Government (Pemkot).

She passed away in Bogor and was laid to rest at the family residence on Jalan Penggalang No. 1, Loji Agricultural Complex, Bogor City. Her funeral is scheduled for Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at approximately 9:00 a.m. WIB (Western Indonesian Time) at the Loji Agricultural Complex Public Cemetery in Bogor City.

On behalf of the Bandung City Government and all the people of Bandung City, the Regional Secretary of Bandung City, Iskandar Zulkarnain, expressed his deepest condolences for the passing of the mother of the Mayor of Bandung.

"Innalillahi wa innailaihi rojiun. We, the extended family of the Bandung City Government, express our deepest condolences on the passing of Mrs. Nani Rubiyani, the mother of the Mayor of Bandung, Muhammad Farhan. May she have a good ending, all her sins be forgiven, and she find the best place in the sight of Allah SWT," said Iskandar.

He also expressed his prayers that the bereaved family, especially the Mayor of Bandung, Muhammad Farhan, would be given fortitude and strength in facing this trial.

"We pray that the Mayor and his entire extended family will be granted patience, fortitude, and strength in facing this trial. May all the deceased's good deeds be accepted and be a light in his grave," he added.
