PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The Bandung City Government (Pemkot) and the Bandung City District Attorney's Office officially signed a joint agreement regarding the handling of legal issues in the civil and state administrative fields.

This signing is expected to strengthen the synergy between the city government and the prosecutor's office in maintaining legal stability and supporting development in the city of Bandung.

The Head of the Bandung City District Attorney's Office, Irfan Wibowo, who was just inaugurated on June 13, 2024, stated his commitment to upholding the dignity of the Bandung City District Attorney's Office.

"As State Attorneys, we have an important task in carrying out legal interests, both through non-litigation and litigation efforts. We will focus on quality and measurable action, as well as effective prevention to overcome various problems in the city of Bandung," said Wibowo at the Pendopo of the City of Bandung, Monday (12/8/2024).

Irfan added that synergy and coordination between the Prosecutor's Office and the Bandung City Government are key to creating good governance.

"We will continue to work together with the Bandung City Government to make this city even better. This is a form of our love for the City of Bandung," he said.

Acting Mayor of Bandung Bambang Tirtoyuliono said that solid cooperation between the regional government and the prosecutor's office is important to improve the quality of public services in various sectors.

"We (the District Attorney's Office and the City Government) want to build better governance and ensure that current shortcomings can be turned into strengths through synergy and cooperation," he said.

During the event, the Bandung City District Attorney's Office also received an award certificate for their success in legal assistance and securing regional property, in the form of 21.7 hectares of land in Rancanumpang Village, Gedebage District, worth IDR 174.5 billion.

"This agreement is an important step in creating harmony between the Kejari and the Bandung City Government, with the hope that it can have a positive impact on the community and encourage the City of Bandung towards a better future," he said.
