PORTALJABAR, BOGOR CITY - The Bogor City Government (Pemkot) officially launched the Bogor Smart Corporate University (B-Smart CORPU) as an effort to strengthen the development of the competencies of state civil servants (ASN).

The launch was carried out by the Mayor of Bogor, Dedie A. Rachim, accompanied by the Regional Secretary of Bogor City, Denny Mulyadi, Head of PT Taspen Bogor Branch, Zul Akbar Yulianto, and representatives of Pakuan University at the Ballroom of the Onih Hotel, Bogor City, Wednesday (15/7/2026).

The activity began with the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Bogor City Government and PT Taspen Bogor Branch, followed by the signing of the commitment to implement B-Smart CORPU by all heads of regional apparatus.

Dedie said that B-Smart CORPU is the foundation for building a learning culture within the ASN environment while strengthening organizational values to be able to produce superior and professional human resources.

"I hope B-Smart CORPU can be developed, starting with building a system. With this effort, Bogor City's human resources are expected to accelerate the realization of community hopes," he said.

He explained that civil servant competencies and potential will be mapped to form a talent pool. Those with superior abilities will be groomed to become champions through various training and capacity building.

In addition, Dedie emphasized the importance of digital transformation through the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE), the implementation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and mapping ASN needs with the State Administration Institute (LAN).

Meanwhile, the Head of the Bogor City BKPSDM, Dani Rahardian, said that B-Smart CORPU was designed as an integrated, sustainable, and aligned ASN competency development system that aligns with organizational needs and regional development.

"Through CORPU, every regional government is encouraged to become a learning organization that actively develops employee competencies through various learning and collaboration methods," he said.

Dani hopes that B-Smart CORPU can improve the capacity of individuals, teams, and organizations, thereby impacting the quality of public services and the performance of the Bogor City Government.
