PORTALJABAR, BOGOR CITY - Bogor Mayor Dedie A. Rachim emphasized his commitment to controlling the circulation of alcoholic beverages (miras) to maintain order and security in the city. This was conveyed by Dedie while leading a routine assembly at the Bogor City Hall Plaza, Monday (14/4/2025) morning.
He also asked Bogor Deputy Mayor Jenal Mutaqin to directly conduct the clean-up together with the relevant regional apparatus. Furthermore, the Bogor City Government needs information support from residents and regional parties to eradicate the circulation of liquor.
On Friday (11/4/2025) evening, the Bogor City Government (Pemkot) secured
1,787 bottles of liquor from a house on Jalan Ciheuleut, Baranangsiang Village, East Bogor. The house was used as a warehouse for storing liquor.
The amount of liquor confiscated that night was even close to the total confiscated during Ramadan 2025, which was 1,792 bottles.
Not only liquor, during the routine roll call, Dedie also emphasized the importance of maintaining cleanliness
throughout the city of Bogor. In addition, he asked regional apparatus to be more responsive in responding to public complaints.
Finally, Dedie reminded Bogor City residents to always be alert to potential disasters. He also appealed to Bogor City Government ASN vehicle users to prioritize pedestrians who want to cross the road.
"Prioritize residents who want to cross at the zebra crossing. Create a small awareness from yourself to be orderly so that in the future there will be small progress towards smoother transportation," said Dedie. (Bogor City Communication and Information Service/ Rani)
