PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The West Java Provincial Government ensures equal access to education through the Pancawaluya Personal Scholarship Program for students in Senior High Schools, Vocational High Schools, and Special Schools for the 2025 Fiscal Year (11/2/2026).

The program was established through the Decree of the Governor of West Java Number 422.5/Kep.777-Disdik/2025 concerning Senior High School, Vocational High School, and Special School Students Receiving the Pancawaluya Personal Scholarship for the 2025 Fiscal Year.

The Head of the West Java Education Office, Purwanto, stated that this program is a concrete manifestation of the government's commitment to ensuring that students from both public and private schools continue to have equal educational opportunities.

Purwanto emphasized that the distribution of scholarships was carried out precisely on target with reference to the National Socio-Economic Single Data.

"The Pancawaluya Personal Scholarship is designed to help students continue to receive educational services without being hampered by economic problems," he explained.

The West Java Provincial Government allocated a budget of IDR 35 billion in the 2025 Fiscal Year to support the Pancawaluya Personal Scholarship program.

Purwanto said the aid was distributed to 4,641 public school students and 4,760 private school students, totaling 9,401 recipients.

"Each recipient receives assistance of Rp. 3,600,000, which is given during their education," he said.

Purwanto emphasized that this scholarship is a solution to prevent children in West Java from dropping out of school due to economic limitations.

"No West Java child should drop out of school simply because of economic constraints. The government must be present to ensure all children have equal opportunities to learn and achieve a future," he concluded. (Bandung City Communications and Information Service/bhf)
