PORTALJABAR, BOGOR REGENCY - The Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) of West Java Province has opened a motor vehicle tax amnesty program in Bogor Regency. This activity will take place from October 1 to November 30 (1/10-30/11/2024).

This was stated by the Head of P3DW Bogor Regency, Yadi Cahyadi, during a live broadcast on Radio Teman 95.3 FM some time ago.

During the amnesty period, Bogor Regency residents who are in arrears on their motor vehicle tax will be given convenience in paying off their arrears.

Some of the relief offered include exemption from motor vehicle tax fines, exemption from motor vehicle transfer fees for the second year, exemption from principal arrears for the 3rd, 4th, 5th years and so on.

Then, free of fines for Compulsory Contribution to Road Traffic Accident Fund (SWDKLLJ) and Vehicle tax discounts of up to 4 percent, principal reduction of Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) is given to people who pay vehicle tax with the provisions, due date up to 30 days by 2 percent. And due date more than 30 days to 180 days by 4 percent.

Head of P3DW Bogor Regency Yadi Cahyadi said that this vehicle tax amnesty program is expected to increase regional income, make it easier for the public to manage vehicle taxes, and encourage the creation of order in tax payments.

He hopes that with this tax amnesty program, it will increase public awareness of the importance of paying taxes and increase regional income for development.
