
PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The West Java Provincial Government has prepared a robust system to ensure the smooth running of the 2026 New Student Admissions System (SPMB) for high schools (SMA) and vocational schools (SMK). Registration for the 2026 SPMB West Java will begin on Monday (May 25, 2026), specifically for prospective students at the Manusia Unggul (Maung) school.
Head of the West Java Communication and Informatics Agency, Adi Komar, said that his agency had carried out a series of system preparation procedures for the implementation of the 2026 SPMB. After conducting tests, it was concluded that the 2026 SPMB system was ready for public access.
"We are preparing a robust system so that people don't need to worry when registering for SPMB," said Adi, Saturday (23/5/2026).
Registration for Maung School is done online through the Maung School app at https://maung.spmb.jabarprov.go.id. Applicants log in to the app with their existing account.
The next step is to select your target school and enter your details into the application. Then, upload scans of general and specific required documents, such as birth certificates, family cards, parents' ID cards (KTP), report cards, diplomas, certificates of final exams and academic ability tests from your home school, and a letter of recommendation from your home school.
Additionally, parents must upload a Statement of Absolute Responsibility (SPTJM) and a statement of readiness to participate in the SPBM (Student Registration) stages and support Maung School. Applicants for the academic potential pathway must upload the results of an academic potential test (TPA) conducted by a psychologist.
After uploading all documents, don't forget to print your registration receipt and press the "submit" button. Always monitor for any verification results that require further action.
Registration for Maung High School and Vocational High School is open until Friday, May 29, 2026. Accepted students will be announced on Monday, June 8, 2026. Accepted students will then re-register on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 9-10, 2026.
