PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The implementation of the New Student Admissions System (SPMB) for Kindergarten, Elementary and Junior High School levels in Bandung City 2025/2026 has begun. The process begins with account creation and data collection on the spmb.bandung.go.id page on May 19 to June 20, 2025.

SPMB data collection is mandatory for all prospective new students who will register for Elementary Schools or Junior High Schools in Bandung City. Either independently by parents or collectively through school operators on the spmb.bandung.go.id page.

Acting Head of the Bandung City Education Office (Disdik) Dani Nurahman explained that this data collection is mandatory. The account uses the prospective student's NIK and active email. This is because SPMB in Bandung City is held online or online.

"This data collection is mandatory, one NIK one SPMB account. All personal data must be filled in and completed according to the path that will be chosen later," said Dani at the Bandung City Education Office, Monday (5/19/2025).

For parents of prospective new students who encounter technical problems, the Bandung City Education Office is ready to provide online services through the chatbox feature or face-to-face services at the Bandung City Education Office office.

"Parents of prospective students, if you want to consult or have technical problems during the SPMB process, you can ask directly in the chatbox, on the SPMB page, just click on the Bottom Right Corner. Can you submit questions at any time? 24 hours. Later the SPMB admin will answer and explain," he said.

For information, the Bandung City SPMB is carried out in one stage starting from data collection, registration, announcement, re-registration. So, prospective new students can only choose one available path. Among them are the domicile path, affirmation path, achievement path, and mutation path.
