PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. GARUT - Acting (Pj.) Regent of Garut Barnas Adjidin appointed and confirmed the Management of the Regional National Crafts Council (Dekranasda) of Garut Regency for the 2024-2025 period.

The activity was held in the Pamengkang Room, Garut City District, Garut Regency, Saturday (8/6/2024).

Sri Kartika Barnas Adjidin was appointed as Chair of the Garut Regency Dekranasda with Lina Nurdin Yana as her deputy.

In his speech, Barnas Adjidin emphasized the important role of Dekranas in supporting development, both at the central, provincial and district/city levels.

It is hoped that the Garut Regency Dekranasda can make a real contribution with measurable programs and targets.

Barnas also gave the administrators a target to immediately prepare a work program within one week and continue to update data related to the agenda from the Central National Dekranas and West Java Provincial Dekranasda so that no information is left behind.

"Therefore, let's think about what steps we can take so that we can catch up with the various backwardnesses that we have felt so far," he said.

Thus, Barnas hopes that this can be done with the togetherness of the Garut Regency Dekranasda administrators who were confirmed and appointed today. With the formation of this management, we will certainly be able to move forward.

"We have to create work programs that are fast, that can be realized, that can have a direct impact on the needs rather than what is our target. So to be able to achieve that, of course we have chosen the best of the best, namely ladies and gentlemen, said Barnas.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Department of Industry, Trade, Energy and Mineral Resources (Disperindag ESDM) who is also the Daily Chair 1 of Dekranasda, Garut Regency, Ridwan Effendi, revealed that this inauguration was an important momentum for developing an effective work plan.

After the inauguration, the Garut Regency Dekranasda management immediately held an inaugural working meeting chaired by Barnas Adjidin.

"The hope is of course that this will be able to reinvigorate the Garut Regency Dekranasda administrators, can motivate them, and of course they will be able to formulate work programs that are quite effective and efficient with all existing limitations, both in terms of personnel time and budget availability," he said.

In the near future, the Garut Regency Dekranasda will hold a One Century of Garut Leather event on June 13 2024, in collaboration with the West Java Province Dekranasda.
