PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. GARUT - Basic Cadre Training (PKD) is one of the strategic steps in strengthening the role of the younger generation in filling and achieving the goals that are PMII's goals and ideals.

"I am sure that a cadre who has complete abilities will be a good leader in the future, successful PMII," said the Head of the Garut Regency National Unity and Politics Agency (Bakesbangpol), Nurrodhin.

He made this statement at the VI Basic Cadre Training (PKD) activity in West Java.

The activity took place at the Commissariat of the Indonesian Islamic Student Movement (PMII) Al-Musadaddiyah Garut Islamic College (STAI), in the Pendopo Building, Garut City District, Garut Regency, Tuesday (28/5/2024).

Nurrodhin hopes that the participants who take part in this PKD will be given good training so that they can improve their abilities both in managerial and scientific terms in the PMII environment.

Meanwhile, Chief Executive Ahmad Fajar Mutahari revealed that this PKD aims to form PMII cadres with mujahid quality.

Not only that, according to Ahmad, cadre formation itself is a holistic self-development process which includes improving the quality of scientific leadership and personality.

"The nobility of a young man or what we call a cadre here is assessed when he has determination, in this sense it is very relevant to the spirit of the PMII movement, the PMII cadre movement which always prioritizes professionalism, courage and integrity in every step," he said.

Ahmad Fajar said that this activity was attended by 45 participants who had gone through the screening stage.

He also said that on this occasion a movement symposium was also held which discussed the synergy of students and local government policies in building a sustainable society.

"After attending this training, you must know and also play an important role, meaning that PMII cadres after returning from PKD must become militant cadres," he said. (Diskominfo Garut/Revo)
