PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. GARUT - Acting Regent of Garut Barnas Adjidin led the Joint Call for Security Preparedness for the Night of Takbiran Eid Al-Fitr 1445 Hijriah Operation Ketupat Lodaya 2024.

This activity took place at the BJB Bank security post, located on Jalan Ahmad Yani, Garut Kota District, Garut Regency, Tuesday (9/4/2024).

In his speech, Barnas emphasized the importance of maintaining security and comfort during the Eid Al-Fitr moment for all the people of Garut Regency, both in urban areas and other sub-districts.

Coordination with the Garut Regency Regional Leadership Communication Forum is a priority regarding cleanliness and community conduciveness ahead of Eid. Steps to clean up the urban environment have also been prepared.

Barnas instructed security forces to enforce rules humanely against traders in urban areas.

"And if the time is still there, of course we have to be firm and measured, therefore let's work together to make the city of Garut a beautiful and comfortable city, and of course tomorrow we will, God willing, celebrate Idul Fitri," he continued.

The surge in travelers is also a major concern. As an anticipation, the Garut Regional Government has restricted access to urban areas. Apart from that, Barnas reminded security forces to be mentally and physically ready to provide security during the night of takbiran.

"And once again, take care of your safety and comfort when carrying out tasks which I think are quite difficult, and we know that after the holidays we are still tasked with serving the people, those who still live in Garut and those who return," he said.

At the end of his speech, Barnas apologized to all the people of Garut for any inconvenience that may have occurred, and appreciated the steps that had been taken to maintain smooth traffic and create a conducive atmosphere ahead of Eid al-Fitr. (Diskominfo Garut/Revo)
