PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Acting Governor Bey Machmudin and the elected Governor of West Java Dedi Mulyadi agreed to accelerate and align development ahead of the inauguration of the elected Governor/Deputy Governor of West Java.

After the Leadership Meeting with Dedi Mulyadi at the Pakuan Building, Bandung City, Wednesday (22/1/2025), Bey said that the adjustment of the Provincial Government's program with the vision and mission of the elected Governor is currently underway.

"The APBD posture will accelerate development even faster," said Bey Machmudin.

Bey said, one of the focuses highlighted by the elected Governor is road repair. "He (Dedi Mulyadi) emphasized the importance of repairing road infrastructure, so that inter-regional travel is more comfortable. This is certainly very positive," he said.

Meanwhile, the elected Governor of West Java, Dedi Mulyadi, emphasized that it is important for the bureaucracy that he will lead to fulfill the campaign promises that have been made to the public.

"All my campaign promises must be realized. Our priority is basic services, such as education, health, infrastructure, electricity, clean water, and housing," said Dedi.

Dedi also highlighted the need to improve health services by increasing hospital capacity throughout West Java to be equal.

"There should be no more long queues at hospitals. All hospitals should have the same capabilities," he said.

In the field of infrastructure, Dedi emphasized that there should be no more damaged or potholed roads. "The road qualifications will be improved, adjusted to their function, whether for agricultural or industrial areas," he said.

In addition, Dedi also targets the provision of electricity for 140,000 residents who are currently not served. Therefore, Dedi emphasized budget efficiency.

"There will definitely be a nomenclature (in the APBD) that will be shifted, the amount that will be changed. Figures that are considered inefficient and unproductive will be crossed out. This is what will be pushed," said Dedi.

From the budget efficiency, Dedi promised that there would be a significant additional budget in the 2025 Revised APBD to be used as much as possible for the benefit of the community.

"After I analyzed (the Pure APBD), I found a figure that hopefully could be above IDR 2 trillion for public spending in the Revised (APBD)," he said.

Dedi also appreciated the initiative of Acting Governor Bey Machmudin to form a transition team consisting of ASN Pemda Provinsi. "This ensures continuity in policy implementation," he concluded.
