In his opening remarks, Nanang Permana expressed his highest appreciation to the regional government for achieving an Unqualified Opinion (WTP) for 13 consecutive years from the Indonesian Audit Board (BPK RI), as well as various other achievements at both the national and international levels.
"This achievement is clear evidence of strong coordination and synergy among all levels, both government and community, to advance Ciamis Regency," said Nanang.
He further urged all parties to look back and learn from history. This 384th anniversary is expected to strengthen collaboration to realize Ciamis' vision of a progressive and sustainable synergy.
In his remarks, Ciamis Regent Herdiat Sunarya expressed his deep gratitude for Ciamis' 384th anniversary. He stated that this anniversary is not merely ceremonial, but rather a means of evaluating and reflecting on development achievements and honoring the contributions of our ancestors.
Regent Herdiat explained a number of proud achievements that have been achieved, including an international award that named Ciamis as the Cleanest Small City in ASEAN, as well as financial management in the form of a WTP opinion 13 times in a row.
"These awards and achievements are not an end in themselves. They are indicators of our synergy, collaboration, and commitment to achieving good governance. Thank you for the concrete contributions of all elements, from the Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda), academics, media personnel, and all levels of society," said Regent Herdiat.
Meanwhile, West Java Regional Secretary Herman Suryatman in his remarks conveyed his congratulations and praise for the performance of the bureaucracy in Ciamis Regency, which he considered very strong and "majestic."
"There can be no special West Java without a special, advanced, and sustainable Ciamis. A special West Java is truly the accumulation of its regions," said Herman.
Herman emphasized that human life cannot be separated from three dimensions, namely the past, present, and future.
"The past is where we learn, today we contemplate and prepare (ayeuna prepare) to welcome the future," he added.
He praised the essence of Ciamis which was built by the brave ancestors of Galuh, so that the next generation must also be brave in building society.
Several of Ciamis' achievements have proven to be a source of pride at the provincial level, such as the Binokasih Award, the Sribaduga Gate, a Bureaucratic Reform ranking among the best in West Java, the SPBE (Economic and Social Development) index, the public information disclosure index, and the excellent public service index. Despite regional fiscal constraints, Herman encouraged Ciamis to continue promoting innovation.
The 384th anniversary celebration, themed "Strengthening Independence, Strengthening Determination, and Solidifying Empowerment," concluded with a spirit of togetherness (sabilulungan) to maintain achievements and address future social challenges.
