PORTALJABAR, CIAMIS REGENCY - Ciamis Regent Herdiat Sunarya led the 2026 Pancasila Sanctity Day ceremony to strengthen unity and maintain the integrity of the nation.
The ceremony took place solemnly in the courtyard of the Ciamis Regency Hall, 1/10/2026, with the theme "Pancasila Unites the Nation Towards a Sovereign, Just, and Prosperous Indonesia."
This commemoration invites the public to make Pancasila the foundation for maintaining unity and realizing the nation's ideals.
Commander of Kodim 0613/Ciamis Lieutenant Colonel Inf Antonius Ari Widiono read the text of the Preamble to the 1945 Constitution (UUD) during the ceremony.
Meanwhile, Deputy Chairman of the Ciamis Regency Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD), Pipin Arif Apilin, read the Pancasila Sanctity Day pledge.
The pledge reminds us of the various threats to the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) since independence was proclaimed on August 17, 1945.
Threats from within and outside the country serve as a reminder of the importance of vigilance in maintaining Pancasila as the state ideology.
The spirit of togetherness and the practice of Pancasila values are the foundation for maintaining the integrity of the nation and upholding truth and justice.
The Ciamis Regency Government hopes that this commemoration will encourage the younger generation to understand and apply the values of Pancasila in their daily lives.
The practice of Pancasila is expected to strengthen tolerance, maintain harmony among citizens, and build unity amidst social dynamics and the currents of globalization.
Through this commemoration, the public is invited to make Pancasila a real guideline for maintaining sovereignty and realizing a sovereign, just, and prosperous Indonesia.
