PORTALJABAR, BOGOR REGENCY - Bogor Deputy Regent Jaro Ade expressed his appreciation to all levels of local government, community leaders, academics, journalists, and all elements of the nation who have contributed significantly to the implementation of regional autonomy in Indonesia. According to him, the spirit of collaboration and active participation from various parties are the main pillars in strengthening responsive, transparent, and accountable regional governance.

"Indonesia is a big country, both in terms of territory, population, and cultural diversity and regional potential. However, this strength will be meaningless without solid synergy between the central and regional governments," said Jaro Ade while leading the ceremony to commemorate the 29th Regional Autonomy Day (OTDA) held at Tegar Beriman Field, Cibinong, on Friday (25/4/2025).

Carrying the theme "Central and Regional Synergy in Building the Archipelago Towards Golden Indonesia 2045", this year's OTDA commemoration is a reflection of the importance of harmonious relations between the center and regions in realizing an advanced, independent, and sovereign Indonesia.

Jaro Ade also emphasized several national strategies that need to be the concern of all elements of government, including realizing food and energy self-sufficiency, sustainable management of water resources, transparency and accountability in governance. Development of entrepreneurship, village economy, and MSMEs, increasing access and quality of education and health, bureaucratic reform and effective law enforcement.

According to him, the synergy between the central and regional governments in implementing national policies must be supported by increasing regional capacity, including human resources, strengthening regional finances, and institutional reform.

"Hopefully the spirit of regional autonomy will continue to be the driving force for the realization of better governance, excellent public services, and public welfare that is evenly distributed throughout the archipelago," concluded Jaro Ade.
