PORTALJABAR, PANGANDARAN REGENCY - To commemorate National Transportation Day (Harhubnas) 2026, the West Java Provincial Transportation Agency is holding various activities with the theme "Ti Urang, Ku Urang Pikeun Transportasi Jabar nu Merenah". This theme aligns with the national theme set by the Ministry of Transportation, namely "Connecting Indonesia for a More Advanced Future."

The series of activities began with a table tennis match on September 12, 2026, held at the West Java Class I BPTD Office. This sporting event served as a platform for camaraderie and fostered a spirit of sportsmanship among transportation personnel.

Furthermore, on September 15, 2026, a community service program was held at the Leuwipanjang Type A Terminal and Bandung Station. This activity demonstrated the transportation industry's commitment to the community and an effort to bring transportation services closer to users.

On September 17, 2026, the series of activities continued with a Transportation Coordination Meeting (Rakor), a volleyball match, a beach cleanup, and a social gathering with the Pangandaran Regent. The Rakor and the social gathering with the Pangandaran Regent served as a momentum to strengthen coordination and synergy in transportation management, while the sports activities and cleanup activities demonstrated togetherness and concern for the environment.

The West Java Provincial Transportation Agency is also promoting the use of electric-powered transportation as an effort to create a more environmentally friendly and sustainable transportation system. This is being implemented through the use of several electric-powered public transportation vehicles and buses for transportation agency heads to move from one location to another during the 2026 National Transportation Day (Harhubnas) activities.

The peak of the commemoration of the National Transportation Day at the West Java Province Level in 2026 was held on September 18, 2026 through the National Transportation Day Ceremony at the West Java Province Level which was attended by the Deputy Governor of West Java, the Head of BPTD Class I West Java, the Regent of Pangandaran, the Head of the Regency/City Transportation Service throughout West Java along with the ranks of transportation personnel in West Java which took place at the Nusawiru Airport owned by the West Java Provincial Government.

The series of peak events was also enlivened by a flying demonstration/fly pass show, which illustrated the connectivity and synergy between modes of transportation in connecting various regions.

The 2026 National Transportation Day celebrations concluded with community service activities in Kondangjajar and Cijulang Villages, near Nusawiru Airport, Pangandaran Regency. These activities demonstrated the transportation industry's commitment to the surrounding community and strengthened the relationship between transportation providers and the community.

Through this series of activities, the West Java Transportation Agency wants to make Harhubnas
not just an annual ceremony, but a momentum to strengthen the spirit of service and collaboration.
