Commemorating Nuzulul Qur'an at Baitur Ridwan Mosque, Regional Secretary Encourages Community to Love the Qur'an

PORTALJABAR, BOGOR CITY - The Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Bogor City, Denny Mulyadi, attended the commemoration of Nuzulul Qur'an 17 Ramadan 1447 Hijriah at the Baitur Ridwan Mosque, West Bogor District, Friday (6/3/2026).

The event began with a recitation of verses from the holy Quran. In his remarks, Denny Mulyadi stated that the Nuzulul Quran commemoration serves as a moment for Muslims to recall the revelation of the Quran as a guide for life.

"The Quran is not only to be read, but also understood, practiced, and used as a foundation in personal life, family life, as well as social and national life," he said at the Baitur Ridwan Mosque, Jalan KH Abdullah bin Nuh, West Bogor District, Bogor City.

On that occasion, Denny Mulyadi represented the Bogor City Government (Pemkot) by symbolically handing over the Tarawih Keliling (Tarling) grant, the waqf land certificate, and BPJS Employment compensation to the heirs of the beneficiaries.

He explained that the Tarling grant is a form of support from the Bogor City Government in strengthening religious activities, prospering mosques, and increasing the spread of Islam in various areas of Bogor City.

In addition, the handover of waqf land certificates is carried out to provide legal certainty for waqf assets so that they can be optimally utilized for the benefit of the community, both as a means of worship, education, and other socio-religious activities.

Meanwhile, the BPJS Employment compensation provided is a form of protection and concern for workers and their families, thereby providing a sense of security and social security for the community.

"Hopefully, through this Nuzulul Qur'an commemoration, we will love the Qur'an even more, diligently read, understand, and practice its teachings in our daily lives," he said.

At the end of his remarks, Denny Mulyadi invited the public to make the holy month of Ramadan a momentum to increase the quality of faith and piety to Allah SWT, as well as increase good deeds.

Also present were the Head of the Bogor City Land Office, Akhyar Tarfi, the Head of the Bogor City Ministry of Religious Affairs Office, Dede Supriatna, assistants, heads of regional apparatus, and officials from the Bogor City Government.
