PORTALJABAR, BEKASI REGENCY - Bekasi Regent Ade Kuswara Kunang emphasized his commitment to strengthening synergy between regions in building a more inclusive and prosperous West Java, while attending the Halal Bihalal event of Regional Heads throughout West Java with West Java Governor Dedy Mulyadi at the Lembur Pakuan Building, Sukadaya, Subang Regency, Wednesday (9/4/2025).

The event, which was attended by the regents and mayors from 27 regencies/cities throughout West Java, was a means of post-Eid al-Fitr gathering as well as a strategic forum to unite visions, strengthen coordination, and strengthen collaboration in facing cross-regional development challenges.

In his remarks, West Java Governor Dedy Mulyadi conveyed the importance of maintaining social harmony, improving public service performance, and reviving local wisdom values as a foundation in running the government.

He invited all regional heads to make this Halal Bihalal moment a starting point to strengthen the commitment to sustainable development in West Java.

Bekasi Regent Ade Kuswara Kunang welcomed the forum positively. According to him, Halal Bihalal is not just an annual tradition, but an important means to strengthen communication, align policies, and build more structured cross-regional cooperation.

"This gathering is not just a tradition after Eid, but it is an important momentum to strengthen our shared commitment to building a more inclusive and prosperous West Java," said Regent Ade.

Furthermore, he said that Bekasi Regency is ready to be part of the inter-regional collaborative movement, especially in supporting the strengthening of the local economy and accelerating digital transformation.

"We in Bekasi Regency see that the challenges ahead are very complex. Therefore, collaboration is key. We are ready to work with other regencies and cities, especially in strengthening the creative economy sector, MSMEs, and digitalization of public services," he added.

Regent Ade also emphasized the importance of maintaining local cultural values in every development policy. He said that local wisdom such as mutual cooperation, silih asih, silih asah, and silih asuh must be an inseparable part of public service.

"We must not abandon our cultural roots. These values are not just jargon, but must be realized in real terms in policies and actions," he said.

By holding this Halalbihalal activity, it is hoped that a stronger synergy will be created between the Provincial Government and the Regency/City Governments in West Java, especially in formulating policies that favor the community.

The presence of Bekasi Regent Ade Kuswara Kunang is a symbol of the region's commitment to building cross-regional collaboration oriented towards public services, strengthening the local economy, and preserving cultural wisdom values. This forum is also a reminder that solid cooperation between regional heads is the main foundation in realizing a West Java that is advanced, competitive, and just.

The event, which was held warmly and full of familiarity, was closed with a joint prayer, a friendly session, and a light discussion between regional heads. (Diskominfosantik Kab. Bekasi/Fauziah)
