PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Bandung Mayor Muhammad Farhan emphasized that there will be no parade on Saturday (16/5/2025) to create conducive conditions as well as comprehensive preparations for the peak of the celebration which will be held on 24-25 May 2025.

He also emphasized that the Bandung City Government together with security forces will begin conducting intensive raids on illegal alcoholic beverages (minol).

"There is no need for a parade today, we are cooling down, cleaning up first. We will also conduct raids on illegal liquor with the authorities every day. We want Bandung to be free from illegal liquor," said Farhan after leading a meeting to prepare for the parade at the Pendopo of Bandung City, Friday (16/5/2025).

Farhan explained that the peak of Persib's victory celebration will begin on Sunday, May 25, 2025 morning, from Bandung City Hall and end at Gedung Sate.

In addition, there is also the "Hajat Barudak" event which will be held by the Viking community in Tegallega.

After the Persib match on May 24 at GBLA Stadium, spontaneous parades are still anticipated, but will be limited to 24.00 WIB. The closure of several points will be enforced for the sake of smoothness and security.

"We will continue to anticipate. But the parade will be at most until 12 midnight because the next day there will be an official parade. So, tong waka (convoy), relax," he said.

Farhan also emphasized that the illegal liquor raids were a program that had been planned for a long time and had begun to be intensified along with the euphoria of Persib's victory.

"The illegal liquor raids are a program that we have planned from the start. We are starting today to go to places suspected of having illegal liquor circulating," he concluded.

He appealed to all Persib supporters or Bobotoh to celebrate the victory in an orderly, safe manner and to maintain the conduciveness of the city.

Meanwhile, the General Chairman of the Viking Persib Club, Tobias Ginanjar, said that the Hajat Barudak event in Tegallega was a form of Bobotoh's gratitude in welcoming the Champion Persib Bandung.

This is also an effort to break up the crowd during the Persib Bandung championship parade which will be held on May 25, 2025.

"The event is a people's party and entertainment stage as a form of our gratitude as Bobotoh," he said.
