PORTALJABAR, BOGOR REGENCY - The Tohaga Market Public Company (Perumda Pasar Tohaga) of Bogor Regency has affirmed its commitment to providing a more representative, organized, and modern people's market for the people of Citeureup District.

This commitment is realized through the launch of a new market development together with PT Bangun Bina Persada with a modern-traditional concept that prioritizes comfort, cleanliness, security, and a more orderly arrangement of kiosks.

Through this development, Perumda Pasar Tohaga strives to create a market that is not only a center of economic activity, but also a comfortable public space for traders and visitors.

Citeureup Market was designed to meet the community's need for decent, clean, and safe trading facilities, without abandoning traditional market values.

The launch of the market construction was attended by the Directors and Supervisory Board of Perumda Pasar Tohaga, the developer team of PT Bangun Bina Persada, elements of the Prosecutor's Office, Forkopimcam, the Head of Citeureup Village, and traders who will occupy the new market.

Tohaga Market ensures that all market facilities are carefully designed, from kiosk zoning and visitor circulation to sanitation systems and security. This is to create an orderly, comfortable, and sustainable trading environment.

During the construction period, which is planned to last around 18 months, Perumda Pasar Tohaga will provide traders with Temporary Shelters (TPS) so that buying and selling activities can continue and the community's economy does not stop.

In the process of preparing for construction, Perumda Pasar Tohaga also opened a dialogue space with traders, including discussions regarding the Sales Place Utilization Rights Letter (SHPTB).

After joint deliberation, an option was agreed to return the compensation for the 7-year extension with a value referring to the previous Cooperation Agreement (PKS), as a form of Perumda Pasar Tohaga's commitment to providing certainty and justice for traders.

The President Director of Perumda Pasar Tohaga, Haris Setiawan, said that the presence of Citeureup Market is part of the urban area planning in Bogor Regency in accordance with the direction of the Regent of Bogor, Rudy Susmanto.

"Perumda Pasar Tohaga is here to ensure that traditional markets in Bogor Regency are increasingly organized, comfortable, and competitive. The construction of Citeureup Market is a concrete manifestation of our commitment to supporting urban development, as directed by Bogor Regent Rudy Susmanto," he said.

With the presence of a new, more modern and representative market, Perumda Pasar Tohaga hopes to improve the quality of market services, strengthen the people's economy, and provide tangible benefits to the people of Citeureup and the surrounding area.
