PORTALJABAR, BEKASI REGENCY - Perumda Tirta Bhagasasi together with PT Kawasan Lintas Banyu Sentosa (KLBS) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the provision of clean water in the MM2100 Industrial Area, East Cikarang, Bekasi Regency.

This collaboration aims to support the need for clean water for business activities in the largest industrial area in the region, including supporting facilities such as restaurants, hotels, and industrial operations.

The signing of the MoU was carried out on Thursday (13/2/2025) in the MM2100 Area, witnessed by the Acting (Pj) Regent of Bekasi Dedy Supriyadi. In his remarks, Dedy called this collaboration the first innovative breakthrough between a Regionally-Owned Enterprise (BUMD) and the private sector in the clean water supply sector.

"This is a historic moment. Perumda Tirta Bhagasasi is improving its services, while supporting the potential of Bekasi Regency's Original Regional Income (PAD)," he said.

The MM2100 Industrial Estate, managed by PT Bekasi Fajar Industrial Estate Tbk (BEST/Befa), is a ready-to-build industrial estate with complete facilities.

The provision of clean water through this collaboration is expected to strengthen regional competitiveness and support local economic growth.

Lorentius Galuh Saputra, Director of PT KLBS, emphasized that this MoU reflects a commitment to synergy between the private sector and BUMD to improve public services.

Reza Lutfi, President Director of Perumda Tirta Bhagasasi, appreciated the full support of the Acting Regent of Bekasi in facilitating this cooperation. "The powerful support from the Acting Regent is the key to success. Hopefully, this cooperation with PT BeFa will be followed by other industrial areas," said Reza.

In the future, this collaboration is expected to be a model for the expansion of bulk water provision by Perumda Tirta Bhagasasi to other industrial areas in Bekasi, while strengthening the role of BUMD in supporting the investment climate and community welfare.
