PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. BOGOR - Acting Bogor Regent Asmawa Tosepu asked the ranks of cleaning officers throughout Bogor Regency to be at the forefront of maintaining and creating a clean and comfortable environment in Bogor Regency.

This was conveyed during a rally with cleaning staff and Environmental Service staff at Tegar Beliman Field (4/2/2024).

According to Asmawa Tosepu, the rapid progress of development in Bogor Regency and the largest population in Indonesia are inseparable from matters of environmental cleanliness and are even a challenge in themselves for Bogor Regency.

"Because the more developed the region, the more the region develops, the impact on the environment and cleanliness becomes its own challenge. So all janitors, garbage truck drivers, net attendants, mechanics, patrol officers and landscapers become the front guard in maintaining and creating a clean and comfortable environment in the Regency. Bogor," said Acting. Regent of Bogor.

Of course, the challenge of environmental cleanliness is a need for community members, so this challenge requires a commitment to providing environmental cleanliness and waste management services.

"I always ask the ranks of DLH Bogor Regency to always be enthusiastic and uphold basic moral values, namely service-oriented, accountable, competent, harmonious, loyal, adaptive and collaborative," he stressed.

On this occasion, Asmawa also advised all participants present to always support so that the democratic party which will be held on February 14 2024 in Bogor Regency runs successfully.

"Success is realized by contributing to creating and maintaining regional conduciveness. "And increasing community political participation, to exercise the right to vote, which is a constitutional right guaranteed by the state in the 2024 elections. Let's use our voting rights to elect the nation's leaders for the next five years," stressed Acting. Bogor Regent, Asmawa Tosepu.

He also said that the development process, whether carried out by the Regional Government or the private sector, must pay attention to environmental impacts.

"So that we can minimize it and produce good environmental quality, starting from the quality of water, air and waste management," he said.

Apart from that Acting. The Regent of Bogor also expressed his gratitude to the Chairman and staff of the Bogor Regency Baznas who collaborated by providing 1,652 gift packages to all cleaning staff throughout Bogor Regency.

"Hopefully we can continue to strengthen this collaboration, in the future we will encourage all Bogor Regency ASN to distribute their personal zakat to the Bogor Regency Baznas," he added.
