
PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. BEKASI - Increasing the human resource capacity of village government officials in regulating and managing village finances is an important aspect of realizing sustainable village development. Where the use of village funds must be in line with financial management accountability as per applicable regulations.
This was conveyed by the Acting Regent of Bekasi Dani Ramdan when opening the 2024 Financial Management and Village Development Evaluation Workshop at the Bekasi Regency Regional Government (Pemdakab), at the Holiday Inn Cikarang Hotel, Friday (28/6/2024).
"In addition to accountable, transparent and targeted management, we also need to ensure human resources are committed to creating inclusive and sustainable village development, the term man behind the gun. So this workshop is our investment in building reliable human resources in the future," he said .
Dani said that in Bekasi Regency itself the village budget continues to increase from year to year. Both those originating from the APBN, namely village funds, and Village Fund Allocations originating from the APBD. Of course, this is a challenge for villages to be able to optimize existing funds for the development and welfare of their communities.
"Through this workshop, it is hoped that we can find solutions to various problems in optimizing effective and efficient village financial management," he said.

The workshop, which was held jointly with the West Java Province Representative Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP), was also attended by the Acting Regional Secretary of Bekasi Regency, Heads of Regional Apparatus within the Bekasi Regional Government, Subdistrict Heads throughout Bekasi Regency, Village Heads throughout Bekasi Regency, BPKP Leaders Representative of West Java Province.
