
PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. BEKASI - Acting Regent of Bekasi Dani Ramdan led the laying of the first stone for the construction of six houses of worship in Jababeka, Monday (13/5/2024).
Dani hopes that the construction of this house of worship will provide an understanding of the diversity of the young generation in Bekasi Regency.
"Yes, because for all of them the construction is carried out simultaneously, including the width and breadth, although the form of development varies according to the characteristics of each religious house of worship," he said.
Dani said that this house of worship has the aim of further educating the people of Bekasi Regency, especially the younger generation. Such as providing an understanding of religious diversity within Bhinneka Tunggal Ika.
"As well as getting to know each other between various religions, in more detail such as Religious Tourism," he said.
Dani said, the Bekasi Regency Regional Government (Pemdakab) is in its scheme to build religious moderation, for example in the construction of six houses of worship which can be developed optimally.
"Among these activities are not only religious leaders, but there is also an Interfaith Youth Forum (Formula) which has been formed and this is where they continue to take part in religious moderation in Bekasi Regency," he said.
Dani said, later when a house of worship has been established, people can visit or see it directly. So you can see firsthand religious life in Bekasi Regency.
"Yes, of course it is open to the public, including students, students and people from each place of worship visited, such as students, students and tourists from Bekasi Regency and abroad," he said.
Chairman of the Bekasi Regency FKUB, Prof. Mahmud, added that later the places of worship would be digital-based. So that visitors are more comfortable touring the place of worship.
